That’s the longest and the most important part. During this time, the customized shape and pigment colour, most suited to each client, is chosen. A patch test is done for you to see effect on your skin. Be wary of those offering treatments in 1 hour. It is not a rushed procedure, it cannot be completed in an hour. ​ Step 3. Before the micro-blading begins, a topical numbing cream is applied to the area to minimize discomfort, followed by a liquid anesthetic. If you're worried that the process is painful, some clients may feel a slight discomfort, but it's relatively painless. ​ Step 4. Follow up appointment after 4-6 weeks to check and touch up brows if required. ​ How long will this process take? The micro-blading process we use a special manual tool to draw on individual strokes one by one. It's an extremely meticulous process that takes around 2 hours to complete. Is there any downtime? The best part about this technique is that there is no down time. There is some slight redness and swelling immediately afterwards for some. The healing process is different for everyone, and it takes between 25 and 30 days. After a 4-6 weeks we recommend a 40-minute touch-up to most customers. ​ After healing, they are smudge proof, you can rub, swim and enjoy your low maintenance eyebrows. Prior to Eyebrow Feathering Treatment: No tan or sunburned face. No exposure to sun. Stop taking Omega 3 or krill oil at least 1 week before procedure. No waxing or tinting 3 days prior to Treatment. Do not take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E or ibuprofen 24hrs before procedure. No alcohol or caffeine on day of Treatment. During menstrual cycle you are more sensitive to pain. ​ Not Recommended 30 Days Before the Treatment: Botox and Fillers Laser Treatments or Chemical Peels Sun Exposure Tanning.

POST TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS To minimize infection wash hands thoroughly prior to touching treated area. Keep the tattooed area clean by rinsing with lukewarm water and patting dry with a disposable paper towel. Avoid using any soaps or cleansers on the treated area for the first few days . Chemicals of any kind may interfere with the healing and color of your tattoo. Apply Bepanthan Antiseptic Cream 4-5 times a day to the brows (provided in your treatment pack.) DO NOT pick or scratch at the dry skin/flakiness; let the skin fall off naturally. (Picking can cause scarring and loss of pigment.) DO NOT apply make-up to the tattooed area for the first 2 weeks. Once the treated area is completely healed, any changes or additions that need to be made can be done at your follow-up appointment (6 weeks later.) DO NOT PANIC - The pigment will fade on its own after the healing of the skin.

What to Expect Whilst Eyebrows are Healing: The colour is very dark initially, in the first 7 days it will lose 40 to 50% of intensity this is normal. The redness/swelling will disappear in 48-72 hours, it will feel a little like sunburn or a few days. During the 6 week healing process, the tattoo will soften and lighten and true colour will appear. ​ After Healing Process: The healing is complete about 4 weeks. Make a booking for a touch up review. Exposure to the sun over time can cause fading and discoloration of the pigment. Try to wear a hat for protection. Rinse face after swimming in chlorine for same reason. Keep Glycolic acid or face peel products away from Eyebrows to avoid lightening pigment. Advise Laser technician and keep away from the treated area. Colour duration primarily depends on how oily the skin is. The oilier the skin, the shorter the colour lasts. Sweating and sun exposure can also fade area prematurely. The success of the treatment depends on: Post-treatment and care External factors like environment Skin quality and elasticity All of these factors are out of the technicians control, so there are NO guarantees for the results of treatment.

This procedure is for people who would like to correct brow shape and add volume or fill in very sparse or eyebrows that have over-plucked, have gaps or scars. It is also suitable for clients with no eyebrow hairs due to Alopecia, chemotherapy or other medical conditions that may have thinned the eyebrow hair. This subtle technique will create a beautiful natural looking set of fuller eyebrows. Yes. Appointments are secured especially for you. Due to the high demand for eyebrow feathering and specialized nature of the time required for this treatment we will need a deposit of $100 to required to secure your appointment time. We understand plans or an emergency could arise. Please give at least 48 hours notice prior to changing your appointment to re book. In the case of no show or last minute cancellation on the day of appointment, the deposit is non-transferable or refundable.
